January 31, ’26 Salon

It was such a pleasant time to get together and sang together. It was again with my dear friend Setsuko.

As elderly women we always have some problems and anxieties, but the time we shared washed away or solved certain amount of problems in wise way and we became happier than before!

Talked about not only family matters, but also about our future life, I made a proposal to live in the same nursry home, but not realistic, laugh??

We talked about the next singing concert here and practiced several pieces of songs we planed to pick up.

Next singing opportunity will be “Early Spring Concert” on the 1st of March.

Jan. 11th, ’26 Salon w/Salvatore family

The second fun gathering with Sarah family. I met Salvatore since November ’24. We sang together O surdato ’nnammurato.

I remember that Ali’s parents wanted to come to Japan and visited us last year. So I was, a kind of, waiting for their visit last year. I asked Ali “Did they come?” It’s so funny they didn’t come because they were so scared to fly over 🛫! We laughed out! It’s not an attitude of modern people. I hope we can see each other here soon! This is my another dream of this year!

The cultural difference between French, Italian and Japanese on how to define “the first week of XXX”! So interesting!! It was possible to do research as I had many friends.

November 25, ’25 Salon (w/Eric)

It was such a wonderful happy encounter to see a young man for the first time since 2020, I presume.

I was so amazed and impressed by to see his growth. It seemed he was very confident with his achievement on his job search as a librarian, gotting a good, stable job at City Lyon.

I said sorry to his father, my good professor friend, on my fault that I made a few scars on the floor of his entrace hall. Professor said that he mended it and were recovered 80 percent! Eric said he did not notice them at all! We all laught out a lot.

Eric enjoyed the scenery of Hirakata Bay. We also talked about a lot, such as about his sister, and my French friends.

We talked about Bouchee a la reine!

Eric gave me a box of biscuits which he loves and has been enjoying even he grows!

I was invited twice to a Christmas party at his house in Miura. I reallt want to come his house again. But I am not very sure at this moment whether I can come to in a harsh weather.

Autumn Concert ’25

Sept 24 （Mail to K）ところで，夏のラメールコンサートに出なかったバイオリン🎻の小学生さんが，Eine Klaine Nachtmusik をやっているので，機会があったら演奏したいそうです。私のリハビリ促進のため，またうちに来て歌ってくださいますか？11月の初め頃はどうでしょうか？

10/6 賛同者が順調に増えてきそうでうれしい。プログラムが作れそうだ。

September. 27, ’25 Salon w/Set

Unexpected fortunate which happened today was a fun salon/chattering with my dear friend Setsuko-san.

She came, had lunch together then sang various autumn songs with my piano! Was fun and released stresses we had(?) More on that we became wiser than before!!

She knew the song「月見草の花」, it was interesting for me, as I haven’t heard that song before my Komo-friend asked me to play.

Next singing opportunity will be “The Autumn Concert” on the 2nd of November.

Aug. 10, ’25 Salon La Mer

On 10th of August, “La Mer Singing Concert” was held successfully, with 8 people!

It was so much fun to get together and sang various songs we love. I was very pleased to be with my good friends who understood my clear intention on the concert. They helped me achieving my small but precious goal.

急に訪ねてきてくれた友人と、ちょっとだけ歌の練習。あとは家族のこと、介護問題、政治状況など久しぶりの情報交換！写真を撮るのを忘れた。

🍂Sept 28　　ハイビスカス, ローゼルも！

ローゼルは、ハイビスカスの一種（Hibiscus sabdariffa）で、特に肥大したガク片（果実）がルビーレッド色で爽やかな酸味があるハーブです。ビタミン、ミネラル、アントシアニン、クエン酸などが豊富。ハーブティー:乾燥させた萼を煮出して、鮮やかな赤色のハーブティーとして飲むのが一般的です。
